Since childhood I have enjoyed the cinematic experience and prefer to watch most movies on the big screen. Nothing beats eating stale nachos or popcorn with a ginormous beverage while watching a great motion picture. I follow box office earnings as though I were getting a percentage. So, in December 2007 The Reel Life was created to share this cinematicc enthusiasm. The countless plugins and themes of Wordpress made possible the development of an informative blog.

The Reel Life contains information about present and upcoming movie theater releases. Included are links, news, show times, tag cloud and trailers. Posts concerning upcoming releases include the title, opening date, genre, rating, length, cast and a trailer. Reviews provide the same information plus a 0 to 5 star rating.

Posts are tagged by actor, genre, year, producer, length, and rating for ease of navigation. Feel free to reply to any post or review. Recently the ability to add video comments to individual posts was introduced. Comments can also be added to the “Chatbox” in the right sidebar. Enjoy your visit, and I’ll catch you at the theater!
